ART Sense provides an online buy and sell service for the general public to showcase and trade Aboriginal Art. ART Sense also incorporates a community & enterprise development division that offers employment, training and mentoring services to groups or individual Indigenous artists.
ART Sense represents current owners of Indigenous Artworks looking to on sell pieces from their private collections. ART Sense currently stocks (on behalf of private collectors/ owners): Ada Bird Petyarre, Athanasius Renkaraka, Barbara Weir, Clem Abbott, Colleen Wallace Nungarayi, Emily Kame Kngwarreye, Gloria Tamerre Petyarre, Ivan Panka, Jillian Namatjira, Lindsay Bird Mpetyane, Lorna Fencer, Minnie Pwerle, Patsy Long, Queenie Lion Kemarre, Reggie Namatjira, Reggie Sultan, Thomas Stevens, Turkey Tolson Tjupurrula, Walangkura Napanangka.
Paintings are sold with all/ or either the certificates of authenticity (from the original place of purchase i.e Mbantua, Papunya Tula etc), photographs and artist signatures. Original provenance is disclosed to buyers and all supporting documentation verifying the paintings authenticity are passed onto the purchaser. Customers are able to further verify authenticity by contacting the original place of purchase (i.e the art centre or retail gallery) where ever the painting originated from. If ART Sense deems that insufficient evidence is provided, or is in doubt over a paintings provenance ART Sense reserves the right to reject that painting/s for listing.
