Situated on the edge of Darwins CBD, Gallery Philip Neville opened in March 2004 with the intention of providing Darwin with an innovative and diverse art space. Park frontage, large windows and high vaulted ceilings give the space an industrial aspect while maintaining a link with Darwins tropical environment.
Gallery Philip Neville represents a select group of emerging artists, and has a strong commitment to introducing interstate artists to Darwin, while supporting local artists through exhibition opportunities. These artists work within a range of mediums including prints, photographs, sculpture and painting. Gallery Philip Nevilles schedule of 12 exhibitions each year enables them to showcase and support a wide range of Australian fine art, catering for local and interstate art appreciators and investors alike.
Gallery Philip Neville works specifically with Indigenous art centres in regional areas to support new and emerging Aboriginal artists, as each artist establishes and promotes their ideas and bodies of work.
