Working Philosophy
It is my belief that the most valuable part of Australia is our indigenous culture. It is the sacred element that sets Australia apart from the rest of the world.

By promoting and supporting emerging indigenous artists we are enabling younger generations to embrace their language and culture, whilst also highlighting the importance of young individuals finding a sense of belonging and purpose in Australia's contemporary society.

As Director and Curator I would like my gallery to act as a vehicle for non-indigenous people to have exposure to an indigenous philosophy and culture that has survived for over 40,000 years, and a people, with over 150 languages, that have coexisted in harmony with their environment.

Art is a means by which Aboriginal people have continued to demonstrate their knowledge of, and respect for, their country. Fortunately this is a form of expression that can be shared.
This rich and exotic culture exists in our backyard, to be embraced. It's truly of international significance and an exciting part of Australia's future.
