The Aboriginal Art Directory only allows ethical Aboriginal Art vendors to advertise on our websites. We actively promote the highest ethical standards, and encourage customers to ensure they are buying art from ethical dealers when making their purchase decisions. We retain the right to refuse any advertiser that may behave unethically in order to protect the reputation of the Aboriginal Art Directory and our client base.
Our Advertising Policy requires all advertising applicants to be a member of ANKAA, Desart, Art.Trade, or ACGA and complete our standard advertising application form. If an applicant is not a member of these organisations, the applicant must then complete the extended application form. Approval of applicants is at the discretion of the Aboriginal Art Directory Management.
The Aboriginal Art Directory is designed to promote the industry and the various artists, art centres, galleries, online stores and other organisations within this industry. We are transparent in this objective. We support individual self-representing artists, and believe that all artists have a choice as to how they sell their works. We do not provide a medium for art collectors to sell individual artworks.
